Oriental Painted Ladies

Siamese Dragon Dress Girls, originally uploaded by artisanirisI recently had the opportunity, working as a lead body-paint artist for Skin City BodyPainting, to embellish a group of six very lovely ladies at an oriental themed event in the Las Vegas MGM Grand Hotel…
This was one of my favorite jobs on which I worked with a team of artists to transform the girls into some very captivating eye-candy.

These red asian lotus and dragon chinese dresses were carefully painted onto the skin. At first glance, you might overlook such well dressed young women, however these girls were not actually wearing anything at all.

This young lady proudly displayed a painted Japanese Flag.

Here is a lovely painted Cherry Blossom and Butterfly Kimono.

Here is a more abstract interpretation of a koi fish pond. I love the way our Koi Goddess turned out, but I later learned that the Koi fish should always be depicted swimming upward for the spiritual symbolism of overcoming hardships in life.

This lovely young lady was a delicate canvas for the wandering branches of Cherry Blossoms.
